Positive/Negative Space Finished Assignement

Below is the finished product of the positive/negative space project. I used patterned paper to cut out the whale shapes and then used a glue stick to attach them to the Bristol board. I then took a red permanent marker to create some additional wave like designs and a sun. Overall, it did not come out exactly as I had initially planned. However, I like the way the finished product looks.

    I really like you projects the red for the positive space is great. I definitely like the patterns in your piece. it definitely grabs your attention.

Below are my three continuous line drawings. I used Bristol board and a fine tip black permanent marker. I do not enjoy drawing and found this assignment to be difficult. The first drawing is the self-portrait, the second one is of Jennifer Hoefs and her dog and the third one is of a turtle. Final Project- 2-Point Perspective House

For my final project I decided to draw a 2-point perspective house using the letter E and the font Amity Jack. I chose the font because it is used for the title of one of my favorite movies, JAWS. The font is recognized by its all capital and bolded letters, which I thought was fitting for building a sturdy house. I chose the letter E because I thought it would give me the room that I needed to work in. I used Bristol board, pencil, red fine-tipped permanent marker, red colored pencil, and an eraser. Below is my finished product. I included the name of the font on the sides of the sidewalk.
